Working Together

Making lasting and meaningful lifestyle and relationship changes can be difficult, and sometimes you need some help. You may find yourself repeating the same patterns over and over again, or that life has sort of come to a halt, or maybe there are aspects of yourself you want to grow and develop, but just don't know how or where to begin. Perhaps life is giving you clues that some of your old tools of relating with yourself and others aren't serving you anymore. Sometimes we need a little outside help to get the hint and start moving in a new direction. I know I did.

I remember when it was time for me to make a real change in my life. I started talking to someone. I didn't know it at the time, but I was very stuck. Not only was I stuck, but I was completely ungrounded, both literally and metaphorically (I was living on a boat in Seattle in the middle of winter with a leaky skylight over my head). With some frequent, yet gentle encouragement I reached out to someone who could help. At first I mostly talked, and he mostly listened. Over time he talked more and I listened more. I soon discovered that I was emotionally blocked, unable and unwilling to feel my feelings, and as a result I was experiencing a sort of numbness that left me feeling dead inside. I learned to feel my feelings rather than push them aside and pretend I wasn't feeling them. I learned to feel my weakness rather than run away from it. I didn't know it at the time, but going into these hard spots was the only way to lessen their charge and influence on my life. This kind of self exploration was counterintuitive to everything I knew how to do, and it changed the course of my life for the better.

This type of work was, and continues to be immensely freeing. Since then I have been fortunate to work with, and learn from many great teachers in the fields of:

  • Emotional and relationship coaching

  • Nutrition

  • Functional medicine

  • Personal training

  • Physical therapy

  • Exercise science

  • Energy healing

  • As well as other healing modalities 

More and more people are becoming seekers; they want to dig a little deeper, feel a little (or a lot!) better, and to have more authentic intimate relationships. All this is possible, and sometimes we need a little help along the way. This is where I can help.

I am originally from Tacoma, Washington, and spent many years in the Bay Area. I now live in Southern California with my beautiful fiancé. When I am not working I enjoy visiting the jungles of Central and South America, experiencing new cultures, riding my bike through the local canyons, and attempting to identify the various birds in our backyard.

Inner Work and Coaching Calls

$300/month 4 calls per month or $100 per hourly call

Taking on the task of exploring the inner terrain of our bodies and emotions is best done with a guide who has been exploring their own terrain for years. I will help you make a map based on where my teachers have taken me. Combing personal experience with the things I have learned through official certifications and coaching, I will be a source of guidance and support as you explore life’s daily issues and deeper challenges.


Mens Groups

Coming together in a healthy way as men to listen, receive and support one another is an element of our society that is desperately missing right now. Together we form a circle to nurture our commitments and hold ourselves accountable to our own growth. The Fall Men’s Group will be starting October 8th at 6:30pm. We will gather together five times over the course of 3 months, to discuss topics pertaining to us personally and universal concepts of masculine identity.

We will be covering:
• What it means to be a man in 2019
• Partnership
• Fathering ourselves
• Emotional honesty
• Getting past Judgement
• And many more topics...

There will also be space to open and share honestly about what is going on for us in a space that is safe. Together we will create a space to share and be heard.
